Beijing is not only the political center of the People's Republic of China, but also a major hub for foreign investors. Especially the automobile and start-up scenes have settled in the metropolis located in the northeast of the country. Our office is located directly in the Chaoyang District overlooking the Landmark River, near Sun Park.

Our seasoned team in Beijing consists of local and international staff. The focus of our professional services lies in particular on legal advice and includes a wide range of regulatory services in addition to corporate law. Alongside our core business, we provide comprehensive support to our clients in tax consulting, business process outsourcing and auditing.

The classic communication is carried out in German, English and Mandarin language. New colleagues naturally receive extensive onboarding, in which not only the professional and structural but also the cultural characteristics are conveyed. There is also a lively exchange with the offices within China and the experts of our China Practice in Germany.

Our Shanghai office is our Chinese HQ and is located in the financial district of the city. In the "new" district of Pudong, east of the HuangPu River, we are located in the LJZ-Plaza on one complete floor. From here you not only have a great view over the famous Century Park, but also the famous landmarks of the city, like the Shanghai or the Pearl Tower. Access to the office is very easy as several subway lines go to Century Avenue, including the busiest and oldest green line 2.
 
About 100 employees work in the office in the areas of legal advisory, tax consulting, business process outsourcing and auditing. Focal points include transfer pricing, e-commerce and transaction consulting. In addition, we have a working point in Taicang, approx. 50 km outside Shanghai, and are mainly active in the BPO field.

Our employees benefit from an extensive training program. In addition to our own Rödl & Partner campus and related online training courses, there is the opportunity to exchange ideas and acquire new knowledge in the various practice groups within China and the international practice groups.

Colleagues are always welcome to take part in the internal events and seminars as well as in external events organized by the Chambers of Foreign Trade or other associations that promote European involvement in China. In addition to further education, the events also serve as an excellent platform for brand ambassadors and employees of Rödl & Partner to make new contacts and get involved in the international community on-site.

Internally, we place great importance on fostering familial ties, for example by organising an annual outing lasting several days. In addition to professional training, internal communication and an exchange of ideas is our top priority. At the annual Christmas party we let the year come to an end together. These and other events lead to a homely atmosphere within the office.
