How did your entry and your career at Rödl & Partner unfold exactly?
My journey at Rödl & Partner began with a day internship through the ‘Expedition Economy’ program. This opportunity allowed me to gain an initial insight into the company’s workings and culture. After having a positive experience during my day internship, I decided to deepen my interest, and a few months later, I undertook a three-month internship at Rödl & Partner. During this period, I could further develop my skills and gain valuable insights into various aspects of the company. Following the internship, I was offered the opportunity to take on a working student position, allowing me to expand my practical experience while continuing my studies.
What do you particularly enjoy about your work as a working student in auditing?
What I particularly enjoy in auditing is the opportunity to actively participate in challenging projects. The most exciting aspect for me is the chance to be directly on-site with clients and continuously learn about new industries and business models. I also appreciate the flexibility offered, allowing me to balance my studies and work simultaneously. Furthermore, I highly value that my contributions to the team are recognized, and I can actively participate in finding solutions.

The company culture emphasizes collaboration and collegiality, creating a supportive environment. I particularly appreciate the mentoring principle practiced here. How are you developing personally and professionally at Rödl & Partner?
Thanks to the diverse opportunities and supportive team atmosphere, I have been able to better recognize my individual strengths. We work on joint projects and learn from each other, which has greatly improved my teamwork skills. Since my time at Rödl & Partner, I find it easier to take initiative more often and approach new challenges and experiences more openly. I believe that working at Rödl & Partner has positively influenced my personality.Professionally, I make use of the various training opportunities offered by the company. I participate in internal training sessions and development programs to expand and keep my professional skills up to date. This includes attending the Audit Academy I, which has provided me with a deeper understanding of the tasks I personally undertake.
