As an owner-managed firm, responsible governance is an important part of our self-image. From the very beginning, we have focused our entrepreneurial thinking and actions on the long term. We strive to achieve economic success while taking our ecological and social responsibility into account.


Rödl & Partner’s CSR management is coordinated by an interdisciplinary team in Nuremberg. There is a contact person at all our offices in Germany who is responsible for implementing local CSR measures and campaigns. By 2025, we will gradually expand our commitment to sustainability to around 50 countries in which Rödl & Partner has its own offices. As a globally active company, we want to promote sustainability at all levels – locally and globally.

As part of our sustainable mobility concept, we create opportunities to travel flexibly, cost-effectively and in a climate-friendly way – both on business trips and on the way to work and in a private context. We support all our colleagues with an additional payment for the Deutschlandticket. Anyone who regularly travels on business can apply for a BahnCard 25 or 50, which can also be used privately. In addition to reducing business travel, we are also guided by our climate-friendly travel policy.

With our bicycle leasing scheme, we are committed to a health-promoting form of mobility. Whether a “classic” bike, e-bike, racing bike or mountain bike – our employees can easily and inexpensively switch to a company bike. In the coming years, we will gradually electrify our company fleet and expand the charging infrastructure at our branches. Charging will then be done with 100% green electricity.


Energy & emissions


We are constantly working to reduce our CO₂ emissions by reducing our consumption of resources and increasing efficiency. This includes the use of renewable energy in our office buildings. Since 2020, we have been producing our own solar power on the roof of our Nuremberg headquarters.
Further construction measures to expand our own renewable energy generation at our Nuremberg headquarters are already being planned.

The provision of modern IT technology and numerous web tools enable us to communicate securely with each other digitally and exchange documents. On the way to a paperless office we are, for example, increasingly using our own cloud services. This allows us to cut climate-relevant emissions and reduce our paper consumption.

Sustainability reporting

Transparent communication with our stakeholders is very important to us. We have been publishing sustainability reports since 2017. We show how we bring our sustainability goals to life and provide information about our commitment to people, nature and the economy. In addition to the milestones we have achieved, we also report on future goals and our ambitions.
