The modularisation makes it possible to plan the exam individually and to spread out the extensive exams somewhat. This allows you to combine the exam with family and free time and focus on individual modules for each exam date.

What’s the best spot for a lunch break in Munich? How do you organise an ideal lunch break?

If it has to be quick, we just go to the bottom floor and get something from the supermarket. But we also have various restaurants in Arabellapark with good lunch specials, so we sometimes go out to eat with the whole team. And on Thursdays you can also find us at the weekly market.

What are your tasks today? Apart from the classic audit, do you do anything else in your team?

My main task is the traditional audit of annual and consolidated financial statements, which I oversee as the lead auditor for our clients. This also includes IT audits, sustainability reporting audits and various special topics. So I never get bored! I also take care of a lot of human resources issues for our team, such as interviews, training, onboarding, mentoring, job fairs and university events – which is a nice change from the classic day-to-day work of an auditor. I am also active on various boards and am pleased to be able to contribute to the development of Rödl & Partner.

How would you describe your audit team at Munich? Who would be a right fit for your team?

We are a young/young at heart team who enjoy working together and pursuing common goals. We like to celebrate our successes with a drink on the roof terrace or you can sometimes also meet us in the beer garden. We are a large team of work/dual students, interns, commercial employees, trainees, audit assistants with various years of professional experience and some professional tex cinsultants and auditors. Our ESG/GRC/IT experts are integrated into our team, so that we have a close dialogue and work on an interdisciplinary basis.

So if you not only enjoy auditing, but also like an event or two with your colleagues, you’ll fit right in with us.
