In the Rödl Corporate Finance School workshops, business students can gain initial insights into the areas of M&A, due diligence and company valuation and acquire practical know-how in corporate finance by working on a case study in a team. Learn about M&A processes and the importance of financial due diligence and company valuation in a case study and gain valuable practical insights into Rödl & Partner’s work as a transaction advisor for SMEs.
Content of the workshop
- M&A: Understand the processes involved in mergers and acquisitions, from identifying potential target companies to post-merger integration.
- Company Valuation: Gain insights into the different methods of valuing a business such as discounted cash flow (DCF), multiples and more.
- Financial Due Diligence: Learn how to analyze the financial health of a company, identify risks and evaluate key decision criteria for investments.

9 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Arrival and Corporate Finance Workshop part 1
1 – 2 p.m.: Lunch together
2 – 5 p.m.: Corporate Finance Workshop part 2
from 5 p.m.: Get-together with snacks and drinks, networking with the young professionals from the Corporate Finance team

- Target group: Business administration students in the advanced semester specialising in finance, accounting and/or controlling, preferably Master’s students or shortly before completing their Bachelor’s degree

- The workshop is free of charge, drinks and food will be provided
