Brazil: Launch of the course Accounting 4.0 in dual study mode at Mackenzie Presbyterian University

Our Managing Partner Philipp Klose-Morero, also representing the Brazil-Germany Chamber (AHK São Paulo), our Head of BPO, Thomas Grieme and Cristiano Alecrim, Head of Digital Services, had the pleasure of participating in the launch event of the new course Accounting 4.0 in the Dual Study modality, carried out by Mackenzie Presbyterian University (MPU). The event was also attended by the rector of Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Marco Tullio de Castro Vasconcelos, the representative of Bayer SA, Evelyn Francisco, Juliana Machado, recruitment and selection specialist at Henkel, from the Head of Accounting at Henkel, Carol Ferreira, the director of CCSA, Claudio Parisi, the Dean of graduate Studies, Janette Brunstein, and the Dean of Extension and Culture, Cleverson Pereira de Almeida.

New and innovative

The course provides for the student’s training at university and company simultaneously. It was presented during the webinar and is the first of Accounting Sciences in Brazil in the Dual Study modality, a German teaching method. “In the course, the university and the company are the teaching environments for each of the students, making the graduated professional leave with a much greater baggage of experience, as the student has already been in the company since the beginning”, explains Liliane Cristina Segura, coordinator of graduation in Accounting Sciences, who moderated the webinar.
