Secondment Program

The Rödl & Partner Secondment Program is an important personell development tool to promote our talented colleagues. We offer qualified senior associates the opportunity to spend several months in one of our international offices. Professional and personal development is just as much a priority as strategic networking within the company's service lines. The structure of secondments is as individual as the career paths at Rödl & Partner.

 Comments on Secondments

“Working for expatriate services for several years, I have never imagined that someday I myself will be seconded as an expatriate. Because of the long-time cooperation for several joint clients, I knew the colleagues in the Nuremberg Expatriate Consulting team before, but just by e-mail. So it was best to meet the team in person, stay there as a member and discuss the German and Chinese tax treatments without the time difference. Another rewarding part of this time is: it helped me to understand how my clients feel when living in a foreign country which feels like it is 100,000 miles away from your home town. The secondment was one of the most valuable experiences in my life and I will keep the memory for the rest of my life.”

“We offer our employees the opportunity to spend a period of time abroad in one of our international offices or with cooperation partners. This "change of scenery" is an attractive opportunity for younger colleagues to develop professionally and, above all, personally in an unfamiliar setting. Experience in a different working environment and culture as well as acquired or enhanced language skills also enrich our team as a whole. Since we have many exciting projects in an international environment, a secondment is also an opportunity to deal with the needs and requirements of globally active clients.”
