My caregiver: digital support service for all aspects of mental health
The digital employee support platform offers simple and anonymous access to qualified help and advice on topics relating to mental health. With just a few clicks, you can find the right contact person and useful information. Short explanatory videos and workshops provide training on topics such as “Relaxing lunch breaks”, “Communicating work overload”, “Bullying in the workplace” and much more.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a global company, we take responsibility for people, the environment and society. Long-term and sustainable thinking is an integral part of our identity. This is why we implement numerous measures that combine economic success with ecological and social responsibility.

Sustainability reporting since 2017
Transparent communication with our stakeholders is of great importance to us. We have been publishing our own CSR reports since 2017, providing information about our commitment to people, nature and the economy. In addition to the milestones we have achieved, we also report on future goals and our ambitions.

Electricity from renewable energy sources
We are constantly working to reduce our CO₂ emissions by reducing our consumption of resources and increasing efficiency. This includes the use of renewable energy in our office buildings. Since 2020, we have been producing our own solar power on the roof of our Nuremberg headquarters. Further construction measures to expand our own renewable energy generation at our Nuremberg headquarters are already being planned.

Eliminating paper as far as possible
On the way to a paperless office we are, for example, increasingly using our own cloud services. This allows us to cut climate-relevant emissions and reduce our paper consumption. Recycled paper was also introduced across all branches in Germany in 2019.

Social commitment
Our self-image also includes our social commitment in particular. We support a wide range of initiatives and institutions in the fields of education, culture and sport. We are particularly proud of our own Rödl Employee Fund for Children’s Aid, which was established in 1994.
Commitment to diversity

Participation in the German Diversity Day
Rödl regularly takes part in measures aimed to reduce prejudice and increase diversity in the corporate environment. One example of this is our participation in the German Diversity Day, where all colleagues were introduced to the topic of diversity.
Participation in the European Sustainability Week
Global responsibility starts with us. Under this motto, we are committed to promoting sustainable awareness in the world of work for a week with creative and diverse activities. With a mix of digital and physical activities, Sustainable Development Week always offers a varied programme for all our employees.

We are committed to a healthy and environmentally friendly form of mobility. Whether “classic” bike, e-bike, racing bike or mountain bike – our colleagues can easily and inexpensively switch to a company bike.

Free Fairtrade coffee and organic tea*
Fairtrade coffee in the coffee machines as well as organic milk and milk alternatives contribute in making our working environment more sustainable. We also provide our colleagues with free organic tea from sustainable cultivation.
Promotion of public transport use/ "Bahncard"*
As part of our sustainable mobility concept, our colleagues receive a “BahnCard” 25 or 50 if required, encouraging them not only to switch to sustainable alternatives for business trips, but also to leave their cars at home more often.
