Structured onboarding process
Structured onboarding is essential to us in order to make your start at Rödl & Partner as easy and pleasant as possible. In addition to your individual onboarding, it is important to us to give you the opportunity to network at an early stage and to experience Rödl & Partner in its entirety.
Fixed contact person from the start / mentoring programs
To ensure that you receive support from day one during your induction, you will have a dedicated contact person in your team right from the start. Of course, we offer you the option of mobile working in consultation with your manager. We focus on flexibility and trust, because mobile working is an important factor for a good work-life balance.

30 days vacation / special leave for special occasions
With us, you have 30 vacation days to recover extensively. There are also special leave days for special occasions, such as anniversaries, your wedding or exam preparation.
Flexible working time models
As a full-time employee, you will work 40 hours per week. There are also a number of alternative part-time models available to give you maximum flexibility. We want to offer each colleague an individually tailored work schedule.
Individually adaptable part-time models
Part of a good work-life balance is that we respond to the individual life plans of our colleagues. In consultation, adapted part-time models are possible, which can be arranged according to requirements.
Support during pregnancy through to returning to work
We advise, support and accompany our colleagues during their pregnancy right through to their return to work, for example through further training and specialist journals during parental leave. In addition, we never break off contact within the team so that the return is as easy as possible.
Eldercare
We provide support when our colleagues want to commit to caring for their family members – e.g. by enabling care leave, advice from an internal care pilot and generous other arrangements.
Childcare*
At our head office in Nuremberg, you will find our own on-site nursery, which is available for the children of our colleagues depending on the availability of places. At many other locations, we cooperate with local nurseries to help you find the best care for your child.
Vacation care*
Our vacation childcare in Nuremberg – which takes place for one week during the Easter vacations and two weeks during the summer vacations – has been a matter close to our hearts since 2005. Experience shows that every year the vacation childcare is a great experience for the children and a great support for the parents.
Dog in the office*
In some departments, colleagues already enjoy having a team member on four paws. This is generally possible at Rödl & Partner, but is of course always done in consultation with the manager and the other team members.

We like to celebrate our successes together! Numerous employee events ensure a good team spirit and offer new colleagues in particular the perfect opportunity to get to know their new team members outside of work.

Christmas parties and other seasonal celebrations
Christmas and the end of the year are celebrated together at Rödl & Partner. All our teams in the offices around the world come together in one typical or atypical way or another bringing the year to a close. At our head office in Nuremberg, there is traditionally a three-course meal in the foyer for all Nuremberg colleagues, with a speech by Prof. Dr. Christian Rödl followed by a celebration in the building. A children’s Christmas is always organized for our little ones with a Punch and Judy show, Santa Claus or a similarly exciting program. There are also numerous other seasonal and regional celebrations, such as the carnival in our Cologne branch or a visit to the Oktoberfest in Munich.
Welcome Day
Once a quarter, we organize our popular Welcome Day, where all new colleagues can get to know Rödl & Partner, our values and each other. With many exciting presentations, the event at our head office in Nuremberg is always a highlight in the calendar.
Annual ski trip
It’s a real spectacle when almost 800 colleagues set off on the annual ski trip. From sporting activities on the slopes to attractive wellness offers and snow hikes. Fun and team spirit take center stage at our traditional fun race. Two entertaining evening events with a live DJ round off the program.
International talent and networking events
Numerous talent and networking events promote professional and personal exchange across national borders. Events such as the International Convention and the World Audit Conference take place every year. Our talent events also have a firm place in the calendar: International Senior Associate Week, Manager Insight Days, Associate Partner Days, New Partner Network.
Uniform and contemporary leadership model
A management style based on partnership is a central component of our collaboration. Partnership means that we treat each other fairly, regardless of the position or status of the individual or individuals in the firm. Our firm-wide leadership model, which describes our understanding of contemporary management, serves as the basis for this.
Joint participation in running events or bike tours for a good cause
We combine team spirit and sporting activity: our colleagues regularly take part in various joint sporting events for a good cause – such as company runs, the annual city cycling event or the Via Carolina Run.

Health

The physical and mental health of our colleagues is very important to us. That’s why we offer various holistic health and sports programs for every situation in life. As “caretakers”, we are not only available to our clients, but also take care of the well-being of our colleagues.

Internal trust center
Conflicts and difficult situations are not uncommon in everyday working life – the key is to deal with them constructively. If you have any questions or would like advice on health, professional or psychological issues, all colleagues can contact the internal confidentiality office at any time – anonymously, of course.

Company medical support
At Rödl & Partner, you benefit from our range of support from company doctors, such as occupational health screening for work at computer screens or support with reintegration after a long illness. There are also special campaigns, such as ergonomic advice or an ophthalmological examination, to ensure optimal conditions at the workplace.
My caregiver: digital support service for all aspects of mental health
The digital employee support platform offers simple and anonymous access to qualified help and advice on topics relating to mental health. With just a few clicks, you can find the right contact person and useful information. Short explanatory videos and workshops provide training on topics such as “Relaxing lunch breaks”, “Communicating work overload”, “Bullying in the workplace” and much more.
(Digital) training offers
In our branches and virtually, we offer our colleagues a wide range of health services in response to demand. These include regular health days and campaigns with various focuses, e.g. running (dynamic foot pressure measurement, running analysis), nutrition (blood sugar), relaxation (stress type determination), digital back coaching and digital allergy advice.

Corporate Social Responsibility

As a globally active company, responsible business practices are an important part of our identity. From the very beginning, we have focused our entrepreneurial thinking and actions on the long term. We strive to achieve economic success while taking our ecological and social responsibility into account and therefore implement numerous measures.

 

Sustainability reporting since 2017
Transparent communication with our stakeholders is of great importance to us. We have been publishing our own CSR reports since 2017, providing information about our commitment to people, nature and the economy. In addition to the milestones we have achieved, we also report on future goals and our ambitions.

Electricity from renewable energy sources
We are constantly working to reduce our CO₂ emissions by reducing our consumption of resources and increasing efficiency. This includes the use of renewable energy in our office buildings. Since 2020, we have been producing our own solar power on the roof of our Nuremberg headquarters. Further construction measures to expand our own renewable energy generation at our Nuremberg headquarters are already being planned.

Eliminating paper as far as possible
On the way to a paperless office we are, for example, increasingly using our own cloud services. This allows us to cut climate-relevant emissions and reduce our paper consumption. Recycled paper was also introduced across all branches in Germany in 2019.

Social commitment
Our self-image also includes our social commitment in particular. We support a wide range of initiatives and institutions in the fields of education, culture and sport. We are particularly proud of our own Rödl Employee Foundation for Children’s Aid, which was established in 1994.
Commitment to diversity
