Strong together: Caring offers for employees in turbulent times



Rödl & Partner is responding to the stresses of the Corona pandemic with innovative support services for employees.


The current situation presents us with many new challenges: Our everyday working life takes place mostly digitally; personal contacts are only possible to a limited extent; a separation between professional and private life is difficult – especially when the dining room table is both a conference room and a digital classroom...


The Corona pandemic last year brought home to us concisely that change is a constant part of our lives. Only if we consciously embrace change can we be successful in the long run. With innovation and creativity, our colleagues from HR and Training & Development have developed new formats such as virtual team lunches or the digital staff induction event. The online events were very well received by the participants.


Rödl & Partner's employee support offer has been expanded in a targeted manner in recent months in order to be able to support our employees effectively even in difficult phases. At the beginning of the year, for example, our employees had the opportunity to learn individual strategies and measures for coping with stress. The counselling service was provided in cooperation with the Techniker Krankenkasse health insurance company.


In addition, Rödl & Partner introduced a new tool on 1 March 2021 to strengthen the health and well-being of its employees: “Mein Kümmerer” which translates to “My Caring Partner”. The digital platform offers simple and anonymous access to qualified help and advice services. With just a few clicks, our employees can find helpful information and contact persons who can help them personally or anonymously via chat – regardless of whether they have health concerns, worries or conflicts. With this initiative, we want to respond to the individual needs of our employees and contribute to an open, appreciative corporate culture.


Rödl & Partner's training program has also been expanded. Training courses such as “Resilience” or “Connectedness despite distance – How to succeed in collaboration in times of virtual leadership” support team leaders in promoting a harmonious working atmosphere. Furthermore, in cooperation with the external provider bookboon, Rödl & Partner provides all colleagues in Germany with access to various eBooks, audio books and podcasts. With the help of this offer, our employees can further educate themselves individually and learn new skills – for example on the topic of self-care.
