Interesting and in an informal atmosphere: An insight into legal consultancy of Rödl & Partner Latvia

You have been with Rödl & Partner Riga since March 2018. What do your tasks look like and how has your activity developed over time? How were you supported by Rödl & Partner?

I joined Rödl & Partner 2 years ago and since that time I was assigned to different types of projects. Nevertheless, I feel that over this time with Rödl & Partner the trust of my colleagues has grown, therefore I am being entrusted with more and more complex projects. Also, from time to time I have the opportunity to train our new colleagues and teach them a few things about legal matters. With the support of the office management, I recently passed the state data protection exam and received respective certificate acknowledging competence in personal data related matters. Rödl & Partner is forthcoming and supports employees willing to acquire additional knowledge and skills.

Being a part of Rödl & Partner legal team for almost 2 years, I can truly say that the variety of incoming assignments and projects, as well as people involved therein make daily work exciting and interesting. Thanks to Rödl & Partner, I am fortunate to say that I have met also interesting colleagues from other law offices and service lines.

How do you experience the overall cooperation of the different service lines and departments?

As regards to Latvia, as well as for the most part on the Baltic States, the cooperation among various service lines has been quite good. I have not encountered any problems with communication. I assume that basis of this good collaboration and responsiveness is that we are familiar with our colleagues, so that we are well aware that the person behind the e-mail photo is someone you personally know.
